Entry the first
The Collapse of the New World
The kingdom of Nathaniä has stopped deserving its army. General Alastair flees east with everything a collapsing world could not keep: veterans, debtors, women with children under cloaks too thin for the night. His road ends at a city that appears on no living map. Behind him rides Patrick: assessor, counter, keeper of a private ledger. The city will read them all.
What to honestly expect
- Adult epic fantasy. It contains graphic violence and explicit content.
- A story of power, faith, esotericism and magic, and of people who transform, or refuse to.
- Character-driven and politically layered, set in a world with a long history behind it.
- A debut, nearly four years in the making, and the first book of a trilogy.
- With a hand-drawn map of Thalmir and interior illustrations by Laudy Miedema.
